H4EAD status in change of employer

Hi,
I am with company A on H1B, got 140 approved and my wife also got H4 EAD & started working.
If I want to move to company B,
1. If 140 is withdraws by company A. Is H4 EAD is valid? Can my wife continue to work?
2. Can Company A hold my 140 even after moving to Company B? If they do - Can my wife continue working?
3. After getting I140 approved with Company B, what is the process to update H4 EAD?

4. Does previous I140 need to be valid to port priority date?
5. will there be any action taken in near future regarding H4 EAD  continue to work even after change of employers?

1. If I-140 is revoked your spouse loses her EAD.

2. Yes.

3. Nothing required as long as A's I-140 is valid. Otherwise file an EAD application with B's I140 approval notice.

Regarding 4: If  I140 with company A is withdrawn. we cannot port date when filing new I140 with company B?

First of all, do the employers can cancel the I140 after approved.

Currently USCIS is denying porting of PD for revoked cases.

They do if it is a standard policy.

Employer loses nothing.

in general if i140 is revoked, H4 ead will not be revoked
