arpal
Hi, I have received RFE for my H1B visa extension. I am working in Indian reputed IT company. I have submitted my manager's letter with roles and responsibility in my employer's letter pad while appling H1 extension. I have ' Programmer Analyst ' as my designation in LCA and managers letter. Now as per my RFE, USCIS asked for my PO. But my client mentioned Engineer as my designation. Will it create problem? It is difficult to change PO from client. Is there any supporting dicument which may help in this case? Link to comment

arpal
Thank you for your response. My client is ready to give my designation as "Engineer/Programmer Analyst". But in my PO it will be "Engineer". As I applied H1 extension as programmer analyst, will it be good? Or we need to request for changing in PO as well. Link to comment
Attorney_15
While it is certainly ideal when the title in the PO matches the H1B Petition, but it is not 100% essential to approval of the case. If the end-client provides a letter with duties confirming the duties provided to USCIS by the petitioner that is usually more important. Link to comment
gaupathak
Hi, I'm facing a similar situation right now. I have received RFE for my H1B amendment. I have ' Programmer Analyst ' as my designation in LCA and in my client letter it is mentioned as PeopleSoft Application Analyst and in my PO it is mentioned as PeopleSoft Consultant. Now as per my RFE, USCIS asked why there is different job title in PO, Client Letter & LCA. What should be the approach for this RFE? Thanks, Gautam Link to comment
