Visa Stamping in project expiring in month

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I'm working on my current project since Nov 2013. My current visa is stamped till 31 Dec 2015 and received approval for 3 years till 31 Dec 2018. My current company cutting cost so i'll not have project after 15th Dec 2015. Now, I had my vacation plan in month of November till 1 st week of December for Wedding in my house(vacation was planned 6 before).

My current i 94 expires on 31 Dec 2015 and if won't go for stamping then my extended I-94 for new approval will not help me. I'll have only 3 weeks left when I return to country.

If I decide to go for visa stamping on my current project expiring in month, and my case will get RFE, email will be sent to client and client will reply with actual end date of project, will I have chance to get visa since my employer is responsible for my work and pay.

Note: I've been working since 5 years on H1b, not a single day on bench expect my vacation to India last year. Also, I have i-140 approved in 2014.

Thank You

As you already have the extension approved your I-94 will be updated depending what dates you got for latest I-797.
