Maxout Period Calculation.

Hello Experts,

 

I was on L1 visa in US from Jun 2011 to September 2014 (33 months). I got my H1B selected in the 2104 but i didn't transferred and returned back to India .

Now that i have got my Visa stamping done from India and planning to go to US .

 

Please help me in calculating the max out period, if my earlier stay in L1 visa (33 months) will be included in my 6 years. And also let know if I enter US after October '15 (which is 1 year after departing US last year) will i be eligible to have the 6 year max out period ?

Yes stay in L1 status will be included to allowed 6 years stay in H1B. Date of filing of cap subject H1B matters and not date of entry.

techamar did your clock reset to 6 years  on h1b ?  I am alsoin same boat , appreciate your response.
