neio100
Hi all, I filed AC21 in Mar 2010 when I switched to a new company. my old company withdrew labor in July 2010. I got a NOID from USCIS and I replied to it by sending AC21 again in august 2010. I submitted for EAD and AP renewal in september 2010 after I was issued NOID and replied to it. They approved my EAD and AP. I have an urgent family situation and need to go to India. I have not recieved any response for my AC1, it's been over 6 months now. I called USCIS and they told me I have to wait until my PD becomes current. My PD is July 2006 and is not current yet. Can I travel in this situation or should I wait until my PD becomes current / situation straightens out. Please advice. Link to comment
Belle
The USCIS does not respond to AC21 requests. Not sure why you are worried. Link to comment
jitu1000
Hi, I have changed my company and my Lawyer told me that its not mandatory to file AC21 and he has suggested not to file, is that OK. Link to comment
Jignesh1972
That's not ok you should inform uscis about changing jobs I suggest you should not hide anything from uscis. If you use AC 21 that will not cause you any problem. I think so many people are afraid to use AC 21 I do not understand that why! Link to comment
