Successful H1B Stamping in Ottawa on Sep 2nd (F1 to H1B)

I had attended H1B interview on Sep 2nd in Ottawa and visa was approved. Just wanted to share my experience. 

 

Questions:

1 Who is your employer and what does you employer do ?

2. Is it IT Consulting ?

3. Do you have end client?

4. What do you do at client?

5. What is your location?

 

and officer said your visa is approved

 

-- Checked my status on same day, its shows administrative processing. And status got changed to Issued very next day Sep 3rd  2015.

Congratulations Uzman. Thanks a lot for your reply. I have appointment on 8th Sept in ottawa. Wanted to check with you if they allow you to carry cell phones inside consulate?

@eminem5 - Nope, we provide software services and solutions to our end clients. Immediately he asked me do you have end client?

 

@niravpatel - Yes, you can carry cell phone. They will give you a locker to keep your phone. All the best

 - Nope, we provide Software services and solutions to our end clients

 - Yes I do, said my client name

4. What do you do at client?

 - Said my designation and Roles & Reposibilities

5. What is your location?

 - Replied my client location mentioned in LCA, as my client has many offices in US

 

** Interview process was like a cake walk, on the same day one of my friend got 221g white slip and it got it cleared in next working day. His client got a call from embassy on same day.

 

** do not carry backpacks, they will not allowing it

@Uzman --- Did you received your passport? How many days it took to get the passport back.

2 days , had interview on Sep 2nd Wednesday and received my passport on Friday
