You will get EAD when your 485 is approved, that's when your PD is current. There is no new law which gives EAD for I140 approved. Link to comment

MS_Neuro
You will not automatically receive a EAD just because your I-140 is approved. You have to file your I-485 and then you will receive you EAD. And you can file your I-485 even if the priority date for your country is not current. But the approval of I-485 will only happen when the priority date for your country becomes current. Link to comment
pontevecchio
One cannot file AOS without the PD being current. Is the firm not keeping watch on its forum? Link to comment
pontevecchio
To add, maybe stick to Medicine instead of giving blatantly wrong guidance? Post # 4. Link to comment

An I-485 can ONLY be filed when the PD is current. Filing it when the PD is not current will result in it being denied or returned. And an EAD requires a pending I-485. Link to comment
