H1B visa stamping 2nd time - Hyderabad, India

Hi,

 

I am planning to go for visa stamping in Oct, 2015 in Hyderabad, India. 

I got my 1st H1B stamped in the same location in Oct, 2012 when I was working in my core field (electrical). Recently I took a full-time job in the IT field and I need to go for visa stamping. What are the chances of getting visa stamp considering I moved from electrical to IT??

If you do not have a minimum of 4 years bachelor's degree or 12 years of work experience in IT field then you might end up with a refusal.

Get ready with all the right information and documents you have.

If you get H1B from USCIS for the documents and the same documents should give you the Valid stamping as well.

If you have any certications in IT field or any IT diplomas that will help you to convince Visa officer.

It will not at all convince VO. If that is the case everyone with a diploma or a certificate in IT could have easily taken a job in IT industry where it looks there is a huge demand for workforce.

Certificates won't help, only a degree will.
