ravi_555 0 Report post Posted July 1, 2015 Hi I'm planning to go for H1B visa stamping in Mexico. Since I don't have a H1B visa, do I need to get Mexican visitor visa to enter into Mexico? My stay won't be longer than 1 to 2 weeks. Please suggest. Share this post Link to post

Goluram 0 Report post Posted July 2, 2015 As far as I know if you have valid I-797 and I-94, you are eligible for ARV upto 30 days. Share this post Link to post

ravi_555 0 Report post Posted July 2, 2015 Thank you all for your quick reply. I'm planning to enter Mexico near San Diego/Tijuana boarder, which let you cross by walk. I read in the forums that there is no Mexican immigration check as you enter into Mexico (as US does when we enter into US). And I do have i-797 and i-94 (valid for the next 2 years), not to mention my previous H1B visa got expired an year ago. I just want to know the facts around Mexican visitor visa. If needed I'll go ahead and apply for it. Share this post Link to post
