mb2015
My GC approved while travelling last week. I came to US today and informed officer that my GC approved last week and gave my advance parole. The officer admitted as paroled. Is this an issue? Link to comment
Attorney_21
I wouldn't worry about this - this is fairly common. An officer presented with this scenario can either (1) admit you as an LPR and put a temporary "I-551" stamp in your passport (probably the correct action legally); or (2) admit you as a parolee (which they do more often than not because they're busy and it's more expedient). If you informed the officer and he/she chose to parole you, I see this as a non-issue, and I've never seen this become a problem. Congratulations! Link to comment
