What type of questions for H4

Hello all,

After waiting for a long time I found dates for ottawa Embassy for H4 dependent visa and i would like to know what type of questions we can expect from VO hence my 221g is pending from April 10th.

please share your thoughts and expectEd questions.

Expect to get questioned on your 221g pending case, as to why you didn't want to wait. In case there is a genuine emergency why you want to go back earlier on H4 before, completing 221g processing, you can mention that...

 

Two possibilities: 

 

If your 221g is related to your employer verifications (& not yours) AND your H4's underlying H1 petition i.e. Spouses H1 is clear and doesn't require the same kind of verification as yours. You could get your H4 approved. 

 

But if the 221g is to verify your personal credentials, then they would want to verify it no matter what...and it will most likely trigger another 221g on your H4 as well...

@ottawa10 - I see on a different thread that you did end up getting your H4.  Is there anyway to talk to you?  My wife is in a similar situation and I'm debating applying for H4.
