Type II Visa Screen FCCPT

Hello,

 

I had a type II visa screen certificate from FCCPT, which is now expired, and since FCCPT has suspended to issue type II certificate, I can no longer renew it.

 

I am working as a PT with NYS license since 2009.  If I can submit my employment verification letter, do CGFNS or FCCPT waive the requirement for English proficiency?

Hi,

 

I believe it all depends on the jurisdiction and you would require a Type 1 now. Do you have a Masters or DPT degree from CAPTE accredited program? If you do, TOEFL is generally waived. But, there are exceptions to that too. You can find the related information on the credentialing agency you are using. Hope this helps !
