sydbrat
I am a US citizen. I already applied to sponsor my 2 sisters 2 years ago. I understand the normal process can 12+ years. I was thinking if I bring them here with visitor's visa and while they are here I apply for their adjustment of status and file for their Green Card here. Shouldn't this approach take much shorter time to get their Green Cards? Anyone has any experience with it? Link to comment
JoeF
Hmm, that's not going to work. You seem to have wrong understanding of the process. AOS can only be filed when the PD is current. And they can't stay here as visitors for 12+ years. Link to comment

Attorney_6
Right. Either way, they can not obtain benefits until the priority date is current. Link to comment
