Career Transition

Hi

 

I am interested to do a career transition from IT to EE field. I am currently on H1 visa and would like to do my transition by first working as an intern this Summer. My questions are

 

1) Can H1-B people do internships (paid or unpaid) in addition to their full time job?

 

2) Is it possible to work at one employer for 20 hours and 20 hours at a different employer ?

 

If you have any other advice for me, would appreciate if you can let me know.

You need to get 2 H-1B approvals to work multiple jobs.

2. Yes, but that employer should file H1 for you.
