visa_2015
Here is my visa experience. My interview was on March 3rd and was issued 221g white slip to submit timesheets for past 6 months as there was difference in my pay. I submitted the timesheets on the same day(March 3rd). I waited for 23 days the status remained in Admin Processing and finally my visa was issued on March 26th. I was in a very bad situation as I did not know what to do expect keep waiting. Sent email to the consulate after one week asking for the update but they got back after two days saying that the case is still in review. Sent one more email after 2 weeks and they replied back saying that the case review is still not complete and was unable to advise how long it would take to complete the review. Informed that they will surely send an email as soon as the visa issued. It is very frustrating as they don't inform you how long it would take to review the case. I stayed in the hotel for almost 4 weeks and finally got the approval. For all those who got 221g, be strong and don't lose hope. You will definately get it but it takes atleast three full weeks to have them issue the visa. Good luck for all those who are waiting for the update. In some cases if you are lucky it will get approved in 1-2weeks. Don't go to visa stamping if you don't have LCA or difference in the pay on paystubs. Make sure the pay is constant on atleast 3-4 pay stubs. Good luck for all those who are waiting for the update...!!! Link to comment
