I recently applied and for me it took 3 weeks(complete process).

I have done mine recently which took 3 weeks. Send it to LA VAC for faster processing.

2.  Validity till H1B I-797 Exp Date?

3. Whats the exp date in case your current H1B is expired and H1B extension was pending during Canada visa application time?

Is it better to apply for Canadian visa after getting H1B extension approval   OR  now with my current H1B (valid till July 2015)?

Hi friends, I am applying for Canadian visiting visa and I have question reg proof of fin.

 

Is bank statement mandatory or can I submit pay stubs and employment letter?? Because I don't want to submit bank statements since it has low amount on the day the statement was generated.

What purpose of visit should I put in the canada visa form?  Can I put tourism as I dont want to put H1B because they will ask for H1B appointment.

 

I dont want to pay for H1B fees before getting my Canada visa.

I applied for TRV through paper application and send it to LA canada consulate directly. Did you also apply through mail? If yes did you send it through VAC or directly to consulate.

@agniverma, I m thinking to apply for Canada visitor visa via paper application at VAC NY. Do you know what days do they accept the paper application? I can't find the info. online. Also, do I need to register online to CIC if I m doing paper application??
