hkgirish
My wife & I are both on EAD with I485 pending. Can a IT consulting company be started by my wife. Is there any restriction for my wife to work for the company opened if she is already employed on EAD. My wife got EAD after being a H4 dependent. JoeF
Sure she can start a company. But, she needs to check her employment contract to make sure that it is ok with her current employer. Most employment contracts require that the employee gets approval for side businesses from the employer. One of the reasons is that the employer doesn't want the employee to work for a competitor. Also, the day has only 24 hours, so the employer wants the employee to be alert for the main job. Link to comment
