using old employer's approved 140 in event of denial of perm from new employer

Hi,

 

I have my I-140 approved from old employer. i then switched jobs and filled my perm through new employer. Unfortunately, i got an audit on it. I was wondering in case if the perm gets denied, can i switch jobs again but still use my old approved I-140 for h1 transfer ?

you can as long as I-140 is not revoked from old employer
