Urgent!!!Currently on H1, will undergoing treatment for anxiety and bipolar depression make me disqualify for Green card?

Hi everyone,

 

I am currently on H1 and wife on H4. My I140 is approved and green card is filed under EB2 by my employer. I just want to know if I wish to get treated for Bipolar depression and anxiety will that affect my green card approval. I would also like to have my wife treated for post partum depression but we recently read online that seeking treatment for any psychological disorder will require a lot of additional paperwork and may even put green card approval in jeopardy.

Please suggest what is better to get treated in India while on a vacation where regular follow up will be a problem or get treatment in USA which can lead us to be disqualified for green card in the years to come. This dilemma of living with symptoms of a known untreated psychological disorder is creating havoc on our daily lives. please help
