GcLLC
You can have a Visa/PIO/OCI. All three are acceptable. For OCI, please note that at least one of the parents needs to be a non-Indian citizen and the processing time is around 6 weeks. Visa is the fastest method. I am not sure how long PIO is taking. When my daughter was 5 months old, we visited India with a Visa. No problems. Later we applied for PIO card. Best, GcLLC Link to comment

ashuneel
You need PIO card from Indian consulate if you are not Green card holders. OCI card is for green card holders and citizens. Link to comment
