ramzee
Good Morning, My in-laws arrived on November 10th, 2014. Their return ticket was booked for May 4, 2015 and is within 180 days (May 9, 2015) of their arrival. Unfortunately, at the port of entry the CBP officer wrote May 2, 2015 on the I-94. (After asking when their return flight was.) Is there a way to revise the date to May 4, 2015 on the I-94 by visiting a CBP office at a port of entry? Do I have to file for an extension? Can one file for an extension if the date requested is within the 180 days? Does filing for an extension result in negative outcomes for future travel to US? I realize that re-booking the ticket to an earlier date is an option but it comes at considerable expense. Thank you for time. Sincerely, Ramesh Link to comment
jairichi
Check online I94. If date is the same nothing will be changed by visiting CBP. File for extension and let them leave on May 4th 2015. This will not be an issue. Link to comment
