H1 from Masters Quota(non Profit Organization) to Regular quota

Did anyone apply COS in H1b from Masters quota to Regular Quota, to avoid future issues because of Masters from Non Profit Organization.

A H1B from a non-profit organization that is accredited can be filed under master's quota.

That H1B is not valid. An employer has to file a cap subject H1B petition in general quota.

Can be filed this April 2015. And, depends on when your initial H1B petition was filed. But you need to talk to an attorney to exit US first as your H1B is not valid as it was approved in error by USCIS. Talk to an attorney from Murthy law firm.
