Hello everyone, In jamaica getting visa approval is simple.But getting passport is very hard.It usually take Minimum 8 business days.so who ever planning to come for visa interview prepare for that( like money,getting permission from the client (at least tell to client it may take 10 business days) or get working from home option etc. ). Don't book return flight, for the safe side in jamaica port of entry book a ticket on the day which you are suppose to fly to jamaica ( book a ticket expedia ,which have an option  to cancel with in 24 hrs from booking time with 100 % refund ) .

Do you mean to say "Book a RETURN flight for 2 weeks ahead in future date" on the same day you are flying in to Jamaica through expedia and cancel after arrival?
