akashz
Hi, My brother is in india and he wanted to start a consulting business from India. His company will be registered in india and the company will be placing candidates across US. He had few questions: 1. If a consulting company is in India and the consultants are placed in US then what are the legal obligations. (I am not sure of any act that prevents Indian entreprenurs to do business in USA) 2. Any tax obligation for doing it. (may not have US account) Thank you for your help in advance Link to comment
rahul412
Think practically, how can a person be placed in US when that company doesn't have physical location in US and doesn't pay US taxes? Link to comment
JoeF
For the people to get H1s, the company has to be located in the US, and of course pay US taxes. Link to comment
GcLLC
I am not sure where you are going with this. Indian entrepreneurs can do business in US. However they cannot work in US under any circumstances. So who will sponsor the visa for the consultants? Link to comment
