Drop Box option - Same DS-160 Confirmation number ?

Hello All,

 

I have a peculiar query.I got my Visa stamped this year (Jan 2014)  and it is expiring in Nov-2014 which makes me eligible for the dropbox option when I visit India in Dec this year.

 

When I applied for the Visa on the site,it gives me the same DS-160 confirmation number as the last time I successfully applied for a visa.Not only that,it gives me the same "CGI Reference number" for visa payment fees.

 

Is this normal ?
