H1B Stamping-Nov3rd,Monday-Option to cancel

Hi guys,

 

 

So sorry to hear about people getting cancellation emails.My case is the other way,I booked my ticket,hotels and planned everything for a week but came to know that my client is letting me off the assignment next week.

 

 

I tried my best in other departments in the same company but the project starts on Nov 22,2014.

 

I am trying to cancel the appointment as I dont want to get stuck there(Sorry about the folks out there in Jamaica) in case if i get the 221g.It might be a dumb decision but i thought a lot about this.

 

I have my flight(non-refundable round trip) tomorrow at 1PM EST from CLT.

 

My question is How can i cancel the appointment?

 

This is what the email said : "You have until 31 October, 2014, 12:00:00 EST to cancel or reschedule your appointment. "

 

1. I tried looking at their website and couldnt find the option to cancel.Is it before NOON that  i should cancel?

2.If i dont have the option to cancel now,does it impact my future appointments incase i decide to go after couple of months?

you can tell later u felt sick or some reason as u did not attend interview

Just don't attend the interview, that's not a big deal.
