i-94 extension after passport renewal without leaving US

My wife visa stamping is valid till the Sep 2015. On her last entry to US at san francisco internation airport, she got the I-94 issued only till Feb 2015 as her passport is valid till then only.  Now she have the passport renewed.

 

I would like to know the process to get the i-94 extended till the petition/visa stamping validility without leaving the country.

 

Please advise.

No other option other than crossing the border with two passports with a copy of your I797.

I am planning to go San ysidro for I-94 extension in this week . If anyone plan to go there please let me know
