Green Card file on I-94. L1 B already expired?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

My L1 B visa is already expired and I am living on I-94 which is valid untill March 2015.

Can my employer file my GC on I-94 or first it is required to apply my visa extension ?

Regards

Filing GC on I-94? Quite didn't get what exactly you meant. GC is for the future job, the process (starting with PWD, PERM etc.) could be started anytime irrespective of the fact whether you are in US or outside US.

As itsmeusa said applying for GC has nothing to do with your visa or I94 as it is for future employment. It can be done from anywhere in the world.
