PrasanthV
Hello, I am trying to get clarified on one of my question and also trying to understand if there is any options available in my case. Visa Status: H1B max out next month (Nov 2014) but i haven't applied for extension based on PERM yet. I-140 is pending with USCIS for more than 3 months. Waited enough, now planning to convert I-140 to premium so that i can file H1B extension based on I-140 instead of PERM. Planning to apply for visitors visa in Dec 2014 to bring my parents soon for some personal reason. I will be the sponsor. Question: Since H1B might not have approved by December, Can i still be able to apply for Visitors visa when my H1B extension is pending with USCIS? Highly appreciate any suggestion on this. Regards, Prasanth Link to comment

There is no sponsorship for visiting visa. Moreover you cannot 'bring' your parents for your personal reasons. Link to comment
jairichi
Approved PERM does not make you eligible for an extension. And, as Rahul412 mentioned there is no sponsorship for a visitor visa for your parents. They need to apply based on their credentials and convince VO to approve visa. Link to comment
