**Urgent **!! Husband H1 extension and my H1 approved At same time!

1) My husband H1B is getting extended in a week and his company is requesting details in this regard to proceed with the extension.Since my h1b got approved and effective since 1st oct 2014 ,will my husband require to  inform his company about my change of legal status from h4 to h1 and should he request to not extend my h4 petition through the company?

 

 

 

2)If we don't inform his company about my change of status, what are the consequences?

 

 

 

 

3) In future,If I want to convert from h1 to h4 status can he approach his company for my h4 or Do I need to convert on my own.
