Saiputti
My current employer filed my H1-B in 2011 and my H1 expiration was sep 3rd 2014. They filed for my extension in august 2014 and the status is ''RFE". I just found out that the employer needs to file new LCE when there is change in location. I was transferred from our Georgia location to California and a NEW LCE was not filed. When they were reviewing my application for Extension, they found out about this. What is my situation now. Attorney said that I need to leave the country to get this resolved. What is the current immigration status. I was told I am not on H1-B. Need guidance on how to proceed as my HR is not aware of H1-B process. thanks in advance. Link to comment
rahul412
Its not LCE, its LCA. Yes whenever there is any material change in your H1 you need to amend your H1. Just follow your attorney instructions. Link to comment
