vicks2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Report Share Posted August 23, 2014 My spouse is currently working as a local hire (not full time employee) in an Indian govt. office in NY. Her current status is L-2 but it will change to H-4 starting Oct 1, so she wont be able to continue her job. Is it possible for the govt office to apply A-2 visa for her as a full time employee of govt., so that her status gets converted from H-4 to A-2 after Oct? Link to comment
