I have completed my Master's in US and currently working on EVC model on OPT status and got H1 approved for OCT 2011 and confused in going to CANADA (Toronto) or INDIA for stamping (first time)? If anybody has best suggestions please share with me....appreciated. If I go to canada do they will call my Client's office and ask for my details and my resume? I would like to go this November and what is the currently available date in Toronto? Please share your experience....Thanks!!!!! Link to comment
leo_maverick
You can absolutely go to Canada for first time stamping as you have US degree. From my observation I found below things about Toronto Consul 1. They call your client contact if they feel like verifying your employment status, which is good. Ain't it? 2. Please get yourself ready to answer E-E relationship related questions. Let me know your email, we can discuss offline on this topic. Good luck! Link to comment

nycwork
Folks, I heard that People who want to get their H1 Stamped for the first time needs to go their home country for getting their H1 Stamped. I have a Masters Degree in US and converted to H1 6 years ago and currently on 6th year with I-140 approved. Please advise if I can go to Canada for stamping. Link to comment
