Travelling to India on EAD/AP with priority date current

My PD is current and have a pending I-485 application. I will be travelling to India for a few days in the first week of July. 

If my I-485 is approved a few days before travel and I dont have the GC in hand, can I exit and enter using AP or will I need to wait for travel until I have the GC in hand?

if it is approved before your reentry, just let the officer at POE know..you'll get a temp stamp in PP and then you can revisit the office with your card..

 

ps: will you change ur username when u get ur card? ;) how long u've been waiting?
