EAD EB-2 priority date- March 2009 - Foreign travel

Hi,

I have the  Advance parole EAD card. I had applied for the green card under the EB-2 category (India)

According to this article - http://www.************.com/**************, "The priority date cut-off for EB-2 India could advance by nearly five years, to an early summer 2009 date, by the September Visa Bulletin."

 

My priority date is March-2009

 

Can you please tell me -

-What do I have to do after the date becomes current?

-I am traveling abroad (India) in July. Would it affect the process if the date became current and I am not in the United States when it becomes current?

 

Furthermore, I also have an H1-B which I'm going to get stamped (2nd extension), and I'm planning to enter the US on my H1B (Not EAD)
