RBS_123
Hi Team, I am in my 6th year of H1B. It is completing in Sept 25, 2014. I am planning to leave US by Sept 10th, 2014. My company filed for PWD on May 20th, 2014. Once they get the approval for PWD, they will go through the recruitment process for 45 to 60 days. I am assuming all these process will complete by Sept 30th, 2014. Q1. Since I am planning to leave US by Sept 1st week ( keeping just 15 days of my H1 visa), will there be any impact on my Perm/labor filling? Do you see any problem here? Q2, in general how much time does it take for the PERM to be approved? Q3. Is it mandatory for you to have a H1B petition for PERM to be filed? If yes, how many minimum days you need to have H1B? Please suggest me. Link to comment
rahul412
1.No problem. 2.3-4 months 3.No that's not mandatory. Your current status is not related to GC processing, but if you were in US then you should have a clean immigration record. Link to comment
