Start green card--- EB1

Hi All,

 

My husband and myself are both on H1B visa. We both work for american companies having development center in India. My company wants me to go to India and build the team there may be for a year. My husband has a green card started in EB2 PDD is 2012. My green card is not started as I have around 4 years on my H1B. I am not sure given the present scenarios how much we need to wait.

 

Having said that if my husband recently got promoted to a director level and his coy said that your responsibilities are inline with EB1 but you need to spend one year outside, he also has opportunity in india from his coy ends.

 

My question is:

Can i485 be filled for myself and the kids if we stay in india.
