Visitor Visa: Different Itinerary than the one used during interview

Friend of mine got visitor visa recently based on travel itinerary A from travel agent A and now he wants to change his travel itinerary completely to Itinerary B thru different travel agent but travel agent A got upset with it and said this will cause issues because he has to report it to US consulate. Do you think this can be issue at POE?

The first agent is bluffing. People do change their mind about travel specifics.

No issue at all. Your friend can travel whenever he wants and based on any itinerary.

No problem. He can enter into US at ANY time after the visa interview.

The visa was not granted because of itinerary.  Tell your friend not to worry and use whichever agent he prefers.
