Parents to travel on AP

My husband has applied for his parents green card and they have a received their AP which is valid until February 2015.

 

1. Is it OK for them to travel on AP?

 

2. Is there any restriction on the duration they spend there on AP as long as they are back by February 2015?

If there are any RFEs while they are in India does that affect their re entry on AP?

It is a bit late to get RFE's. As an USC there will be no problem ultimately.
