I485 pending, H1B stamped, no AP, is travel advised?

My 6th yr H1B is stamped till August 2014. I applied for I485 and EAD in December 2013. Biometrics is also over. I haven't applied for AP.

 

Now if i travel to India and the greencard gets approved while i am in India, will i have any issue of coming back? I've read in many posts that if this happens my greencard might get invalid.

 

I would like to know what is advised at this stage.

Sorry to mention but use some diligence bro. Read around forum before posting repetitive questions.

 

 Also why on the earth wouldn't you apply for AP. Its just another form which would normally take 5 mins to fill.
