First time stamping for COS from L1 to H1B

Hi,

 

In 2011 August, I came to US on L1B and last October I did COS to H1b by joining a new employer here in BayArea. Approved H1B petition is valid until Sep 2016 and currently am planning for visa stamping. It would be a great help if any one can kindly answer to my below questions.

 

1. I am working for a body shopping company, in-between my employer and end client there is one primary vendor. Is it safe to go for stamping with this structure having client, vendor and employer letters along with required documents (pay stubs, w2, PO, etc) ?
2. I haven't studied in US, however have been working here from last 2 and half years. Should I have to go India (home country) or get it done in Canada (Vancouver or Ottawa). Which is recommendable for first time H1B stamping with COS.
