Travelling on AP while H1 extension is pending

Facts:

My I-140 is approved and I have EAD and AP but I am not using my EAD

My H1 is expired and renewal is pending with USCIS

Last year I have entered on AP

 

Question:

1. Can I travel to India and come back on AP while my H1 renewal is pending?

2. Does it has any worst impact on Re-Entry if in case H1 renewal is denied?
