Cop would have told you what is the court date in case if the offense requires mandatory court appearance. 2 Or Cop would have told you to call the court clerk to schedule for court date in case if you are fighting against theticket. Else you would have been provided with the details of where to pay the fine. Court date will usually be set atleast a month after the offence. In either of above cases, you are not guilty until you appear at the court or pay a fine. So no records of your offence will be available in official records. No need to worry! Link to comment
