skate
Hi,My current H1B expires this month. I got the renewal for another three years. I am planning to visit India in the next couple of months, and I want to get the visa stamping done. Can someone please tell me how to schedule an appointment. I am a little dense. I started here - http://www.ustraveldocs.com/in/in-niv-visarenew.asp It says to go here to schedule an appointment - https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/?language=English&country=India I registered and logged in. I clicked on "New Application/Schedule Appointment" link. Step 1 - I selected Non-immigrant visa. Step 2 - it asks for country or state of residence and lists all the states in India. There is no option to select US. Am I looking at the right website? Thanks. Link to comment

Obviously it will ask for country and city outside US as visas are stamped in consulates and US does not have a US consulate within US. That being said you are on the right website. Choose India and the city where you want your US visa interview and follow further instructions. Link to comment
skate
I selected dropbox option and it displayed a confirmation letter. There was no option to make an appointment. I guess I can go to the dropbox location to submit my documents any date/time? Can any one please confirm. Link to comment
