H1B Visa Stamp - I-94 Issue

Hi,

I recently had my first H1B stamping done in Canada last month. I was on F1 visa and got my first H1 B stamping in Canada. During my visit to the US consulate they took my i-94 card (during Visa Interview). while travelling back from Canada to USA, the immigration was done at Toronto airport and no new i-94 was issued for me. the immigration officer just stamped on my passport.

Would this be an issue ?

IS there a way for me to get a new i-94 card.

you need to pull it online.

 

US doesn't give out the i94 cards anymore. Everything is online.

Nothing to worry about. No more paper I94s stapled on your passport. 

Look online... you should be able to get a copy of you I94.

No more paper I94s. Everything is online. You can retrieve it for your record by visiting CBP website online.

u can retrieve your I94 .Just do a google search for I94 and click on the first link and follow the instructions ..

There will be no more I-94 given from now on at the immigration. This was the new rule since 4-6 mths. You can print your I-94 online from the following link :

You can get electronic I-94 from website. They don't issue paper I-94 at POE in normal cases.
