Travelling abroad and re-entering with AP at LAX POE

Hi all - I will be travelling abroad and using my EAD/AP card to re-enter with PoE being LAX. Is there anything new apart from expecting secondary inspection. Any experiences with using AP at LAX POE would be appreciated. I assume I do not need anything other than my passport, EAD/AP card, (maybe employment letter)...LAX will be my final destination.
