Moved from EB3 to EB2

I moved from EB3 to EB2. And my priority date is Jun 7th 2006. From May 1st it is current. Since I moved from EB3 to EB2, Do I need to follow up or it will be automatically approved.

Did the attorney port your PD when they filed for your EB2 I-140? If yes, then your date would be current in May and you can file for your I-485.

I already filed 485 with my EB3 then I moved to EB2 and my new EB2 140 came with old priority date. My question is the 485 application is already been adjusted to EB2 or not

I don't think so. You have to apply another 485 under EB2. This is just my thought.

I didnt file and got approved. no need to file new i485 for eb2, if you already have i485 filed based on eb3.

Write to uscis sending a copy of new i140 and old i485 asking them to approve i485 based on eb2 i140 as the dates are current. good luck.
