vac21
I had my AOS pending for 2 years. I decided to change jobs a couple of months back, filed AC21 (assuming here that it was filed by the lawyer). I have not received any acknowledgement from USCIS. The USCIS online tool updated my case status recently stating that a decision notice had been mailed to me. It also states that they had registered my PR Status and follow up instructions will be in the notice. I have not changed employers yet. At this point I don't know if I should. Will it impact me negatively if I do (because I am shifting jobs right after I485 case status change without AC21 acknowledgement)? Will it negatively impact me if I don't (because I have filed AC21. I am not sure if USCIS received it.). At this point, I am fine working for either employers as long as my green card status is unaffected. My only concern/aim is that my green card is intact. Please write your recommendations on what I should do? Link to comment
sivashankarapandian
. I called murthy lawyers for my GC. They mentioned its not mandatory for USCIS to acknowledge your AC21 . So even if they get it some times they will notify you that they received sometimes wont. Link to comment
