harry9 Posted September 30, 2013 Report Share Posted September 30, 2013 is it recommended to file for renewal of AP without going through an attorney. i asked an attorney to file for AP on my behalf but he is charging $400.... are there any documents that must be submitted that are not mentioned in the instruction form for i-131? lastly, should the AP be sent to the same center as the I-485? thanks! kalyan_ac Posted September 30, 2013 Report Share Posted September 30, 2013 You dont have to have an attorney to file for I131(AP). The documents to be sent are pretty straightforward as listed in the application. In addition you will need a cover letter giving details about your case and requesting them to approve. The Petition had to be sent to the service center based on where you live,which are listed in the application based on the states. Link to comment
