sakapoor
New Job profile/title is same as the sponsoring employer. Can GC be denied if AC21 was not filed? Link to comment
pontevecchio
No. They may issue a NOID and you can defend it at that time. This is why being proactive and keeping a Lawyer onboard is vital. She may ask you to file a notification based on your circumstances. Do not skimp on a Lawyer. Link to comment

sakapoor
Thanks for the reply. I told my Lawyer several times but he is just not doing it. And since he is my Lawyer from the beginning, I don't want to go to another one at this moment. So I remind him every other week and he says he will do it but for some reason he just doesn't do it. That is why I am not sure if he will file or no. If I push him enough he will do it and it will cost me $500. So that is why I asked the question. Link to comment
Belle
Since you have not gotten an RFE or NOID, there is no pressing need to do it. Should something go wrong with your case, you can reopen it because you were poorly represented by your lawyer. I'd probably leave it at that. Link to comment

Desi Dude
Thank you Belle and pontevecchio. I will update this if something changes. You don't need a lawyer to file AC21. Link to comment
pontevecchio
Since there is no official document to file AC21 and since it is not mandatory it would be extremely naïve not to involve a Lawyer. Link to comment
